Julie Canton has been a Florida Registered Paralegal since 2003. Prior to joining McDonald & Barnhill, she spent 15 years as a Litigation Paralegal primarily handling Medical Malpractice & Nursing Home Abuse cases in Tampa and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Julie is a Tampa native and graduate of The Academy of the Holy Names, University of Tampa, and Florida Metropolitan University. She graduated Cum Laude in 2003 with a degree in Paralegal Studies from FMU.
Julie has been an active Board member of several professional & community organizations including the Tampa Bay Paralegal Association and the Association of Law Office Administrators. She is a member, and Past President, of one of Tampa’s all-female Gasparilla Krewes, which provides her with opportunities to spearhead multiple philanthropic projects each year, all of which directly benefit the women, children, and veterans of Tampa Bay.
